SEESIM Exercise

 

The SEESIM exercise is a series of exercises within the framework of the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) process. Specifically, a biannual event that simulates an international exercise that  implements national - regional emergency response procedures and improve interoperability among SEDM member nations’ EOCs, within a contemporary complex environment of diverse challenges, including realistic limitations due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The SEESIM  exercise aims  to  promote  cooperation,  coordination  and  interoperability of civil-military operations and reinforce real world  crisis response within and among the SEDM nations and SEDM initiatives  through  effective  use  of  computer  Modelling  and  Simulation (M&S). 

SEDM member nations and SEEBRIG can participate in SEESIM exercise as primary training audience from a remote site. The exercise is also open for participation by NATO Force Structure (NFS) and NATO Command Structure (NCS) as observers.
